Chris and Kristen’s May 4th wedding at Addison Oaks Buhl Estate was the perfect Spring day for celebrating with family and friends. The air was warm and the trees were starting to blossom with their leaves for the summer season. We began their day in the gorgeous mansion for getting ready photos, mimosas, beers, and a relaxed setting for the preparation of their big day. The antiquity of the estate created the perfect setting for moody and romantic photos. Chris and Kristen exchanged gifts and love notes before their first look and I’d say both of them were extremely excited for what they other had given them. A blossoming tree was the perfect spot for their first look and right after they saw each other we spent some time walking around the estate and taking photos with their wedding party. Their outdoor ceremony was one of the prettiest ceremony settings I’ve ever witnessed. The private courtyard housed all of their family and friends as they said their vows. After their ceremony, it was time to party! We even snuck outside for some sunset photos when the lighting was just perfect! Here are some of my favorite shots from their day <3
