ASHLEY + JOE // ENGAGEMENT // BELLE ISLE, DETROIT, MI

Where do I even begin with these two?!
Ashley had actually entered a giveaway contest that I launched last Spring in honor of wedding season starting and was the winner of a free session from me! Instead of booking their session right away, her and her boyfriend (soon to be fiancé!), Joe, wanted to do their shoot in the summer after they got their puppy Maverick. It was totally worth the wait! During the time leading up to their couples shoot, Joe actually proposed to Ashley! How perfect?! When the day finally came, and they had their new little fur baby, we spent an evening exploring Belle Isle in Detroit and shooting their ENGAGEMENT photos! These two love birds were so fun and seriously needed ZERO direction on how to be lovey and cute with each other. I’ve never seen a couple have to much fun together during their shoot. After we got some amazing shots on Belle Isle, we headed over to the city to shoot some skyline photos on top of the parking garage. We raced against the rain that started to come down and ended their session with some sweet photos in the Belt Alley. <3
