Christine contacted me to document her daughter Joey’s 6 month milestone and I was so excited to be shooting for Christine and Chris again. See, a few years prior, I helped document their wedding so to be invited back into their life for such another huge moment was the best compliment a photographer could receive. When I arrived to their home in Rochester, we spent the first few moments catching up and chatting about their home and the recent renovations they had done. We spent the late afternoon capturing real moments of their little family and at the end of the session their pup, Rhonda, joined in for a few shots. (It’s safe to say that Rhonda stole the show for those photos haha). I love the moodiness of their in-home shoot and the colors/tones that Christine picked out for them to wear during their session. There are so many little details that occur at 6 months that seem to be gone in the blink of an eye. That’s why these sessions are so precious! Knuckle dimples, chubby arms, tiny toes, finger sucking, and baby mullets are gone before you know it…
