Being a photographer in Michigan means long summers and beautiful golden hours. My good friends Alyssa + Jeremy invited me out to their side of town to document their family and more importantly, Lucas, turning 1. And just to refresh your memory, I shot Alyssa + Jeremy’s wedding in Traverse City, Michigan the year before so these three are extremely special to me! We explored Hines Park, talked and laughed the whole time, and found pretty spots of light to shoot in. We were even lucky enough to have Lucas entertain us with his hilarious little faces and expressions all throughout the session. Here’s a little peek of our evening together <3
